VETERAN SERVICES

Veterans and eligible spouses are always given priority service at South Bay Workforce Investment Board. The SBWIB supports vets, eligible spouses, and their children (youth) with workforce services.

job fairs connecting vets to employers
The SBWIB offers individualized services such as: ​

identifying job seekers’ transferable skills,

assistance with creating resumes,

job search techniques, and

interviewing skills training
Additionally, the SBWIB is partnered with the Disabled Veteran Outreach Program and the Employment Development Department to provide additional services, including employment opportunities, training, and other resources aimed at supporting veterans in their transition to civilian life.
