VETERAN SERVICES

Veterans and eligible spouses are always given priority service at South Bay Workforce Investment Board. The SBWIB supports vets, eligible spouses, and their children (youth) with workforce services.

SERVICES AVAILABLE

  • career coaching,

  • employment counseling,

  • workshops and vocational skills training,

  • job fairs connecting vets to employers

The SBWIB offers individualized services such as: â€‹

  • identifying job seekers’ transferable skills,

  • assistance with creating resumes,

  • job search techniques, and

  • interviewing skills training

Additionally, the SBWIB has an on-site Veteran Service Navigator who help with additional services, including employment opportunities, training, and other resources aimed at supporting veterans in their transition to civilian life.
